How to check if an Amazon ASIN is meltable

A simple step-by-step process to find out if any Amazon ASIN is classified as meltable.

Step 1 - Find the ASIN

Look at the Amazon product page URL. The ASIN follows /dp/ - for example, amazon.com/dp/B00FQJ1XD8. It is always 10 characters long and contains letters and numbers only.

Step 2 - Run the lookup

Paste the ASIN into the search bar on isitmeltable.com. You will be redirected to /amz/asin/[ASIN] showing whether the ASIN appears in the imported Amazon meltable ASIN list.

Step 3 - Verify in Seller Central

For the most authoritative classification, log into your Amazon Seller Central account, open the product detail page in Inventory, and look for the Meltable or Restricted flag.

Step 4 - Plan accordingly

If the ASIN is meltable, plan your FBA inbound shipment between April 20 and September 28, or fulfill from your own warehouse (FBM) outside that window.
